"Horse Path" is constructed from sounds recorded on a visit to Menorca. The title is a reference to the route around the coast that the army used to get from fort to fort when the Island was under British rule. The whole Island is a nature reserve and has some incredible sounds, sights, habitats and species as a result and as I captured, is a top destination for botanists. No planes fly over the Island and for once, I came home with recordings without jet engines all over them! Maybe this one is like an aural version of a collection of filtered holiday snaps that might appear on someones Instagram account.
